If Southwest Farms doesn’t get paid, they can foreclose on the property so I’m surprised to hear that there’s an issue, maybe they worked it out. I’m sure they were pissed they weren’t getting their 3% royalty though. If you look at the pictures from Shi Farms instagram, they’re all later in the growing season, nothing until the plants were just about to be harvested, or of the harvest itself. The company didn’t even exist in June, so there’s a good possibility they didn’t plant until after June, like you said.
