ForReal that might have happened but
not like you are assuming. A doctor would have had to admit after examination. Hospitals aren't eager to fill empty beds especially with a pediatric patient. Unless absolutely necessary of coarse. And a patient like you described wouldn't have any money or insurance either. I worked in a hospital for 30 years, I don't think that would happen.
