Grace: God giving us what we dont deserve....Mercy: God not giving us what we do deserve.....We are saved...born-again...by the grace of God and the shed blood of Jesus. We know that. However...we seem to live in a society of many "believers" that think we can do what we want when we want and its ok because God will forgive us...and he will...BUT...this mentality of living our way and expecting forgiveness like rubbing the bottle and a genie appearing and granting our wish is hogwash. I hear it all the time...im saved by the grace of God...He knows i cant help but sin..i have a sin nature...so no matter what i do or how much i fail Him every single day Hes ok with that and will just forgive and forgive and forgive...what they are basically saying is they have a license to sin because they THINK their ticket to heaven is punched so lets live it up and do as we please and the grace of God will cover us no matter what...what i say is there is a heart problem and someone better take a long look in the mirror and know that eternal hell is going to last for forever and the pain and suffering and separation from the love of God is going to torment them beyond human comprehension and its never going to end! When we are saved...born-again...we change...its out with the old and in with the new...and yes...we are going to fall short and sin from time to time...but...this belief that we can just keep on with the old lifestyle and God is going to say ok...you tried... come on in....thats crazy! Jesus suffered and endured a brutal beating and scourging and died a horrific death on the cross in place of me and im suppose to believe that God is ok with me calling myself a believer / christian and yet i nail the spikes in Jesus hands and feet many times each and every day over and over again and God is ok with that...i say no way! There has to be a change...a dramatic change...starting at the day of salvation and continuing day by day by day as God molds us into the likeness of Jesus...Yes it is a process...but...every time we start to sin...we know in that moment that it is sin and we make the decision to do it or not do it...i mean..there is no one holding a gun to our head is there?..so...if we are born-again and have the Holy Spirit living in us its just as easy to say no to sin as it is to say yes and drive yet another spike in Jesus hands! Again...we are all going to sin from time to time...but...as A.W. Tozer said..."If we are not changed by grace...then we are not saved by grace."

I Have No Regrets About My Past...My Past Is Who I Am Today...Born Again!
