gfp: It is still frustrating as hell to watch, because the manipulation is being done with illegal activity (naked shorting) and it is so blatant...yet the CFTC does nothing. But they (and the SEC) are just tools of the Deep State...they only go after those persons or entities that run afoul of the powers that be.

I've been reading the "the Devil's Chessboard" about the advent of the real Deep State...the axis between Wall Street, the military industrial complex (which includes the exponentially growing surveillance state) and the puppeteers in Washington. The awful shit we've done as a country all over the world is mind boggling. The stories of how the CIA fed our compliant presstitutes with the propaganda they spewed out to the clueless public. We really do have a shadow government and it started after WW II with the Dulles Brothers (and Allen Dulles's OSS cronies) and grew like a weed from there. Now it's completely out of control. Once the US DOllar starts to unravel and our collective standard of living is flushed down the toilet....who knows what our Deep surveillance state will pull off against us.
