I completely do not see it that way. I see this writing as Granowitz's way of playing up RI and telling readers that shit is about to change. More specifically he talks about pragmatic therapy:

"1. Proven efficacy
2. Proven safety in clinical trials and real-world practice
3. Ease of use – tolerability, few drug-drug interactions, no complex dosing or method of delivery
4. Reasonable cost to the payer and to patients
5. Easy adaptability to a physician’s current practice patterns"

1 = Successful RI
2 = RI & RWEs
3 = Vascepa has placebo-like tolerability & orally administered, unlike Epanova that causes the shits & others that are injected.
4 = costs $3k per year, versus $14k for others.
5 = Simply add to those millions who already take statins.

All in all, he seems very enthusiastic to me. JMO.
