Why because they were smart enough to hire Harris Group to thoroughly go through everything and discover relevant issues that could wind up leading to costly problems?

It would have been a lot worse if they found out about these things after they closed on the purchase of the INEOS plant.

Any CEO worth his salt would have done the same due diligence in exercising his fiduciary duties to shareholders.
