Apologies to Greg for not answering an earlier post, but have been checking my sources and it would appear that an announcement on finalizing the land swap had, indeed, been expected for this month, but further bureaucracy has pushed it back a few weeks. I think, though, that the draft Permit to Mine could be published in Jan 18. Of course, yet more public comment and review would follow. The lack of a ruling from the Federal Judge is baffling and not sure what pressure can be brought to bear to stimulate action. Seven months and nothing to show is unsatisfactory by any legal standards.
