Don't know if this ELD thing is even in play here,

but the mandate goes into effect 12/18 (not 12/17, sorry) with a partial enforcement waiver on point penalties til 4/1/18. The ELD provides an e-log of miles & time driven as I understand it. It connects to the engine itself and also needs an electronic device on the other end to read the data. I don't know how it connects to the engine. This is all new to me but I do recall a reference to ELD in something the company wrote in the past. But I don't know where. And again, it may not be relevant at all for us.
