I tend to wonder how these companies can say they'll buy these trucks not even knowing what the cost will be. As I've stated the Electric vehicle is very costly. A Bloomberg report says the cost of the battery system can run 100k in itself. Add in all the rest of the components and all of a sudden you have a truck costing 75% more than a diesel / NatGas unit. What trucker is going to spend that kind of money just to go electric.
Keep in mind Tesla is having difficulty producing their new model 3 profitably. Much needs to be proved as I see it.
