Only the oils give you the "real" shine, but I like 8 coats and short time means latex "fake " shine will have to do.
Now if I was to do the floor to sell the place oil primer (even the oil dries fast) and one oil coat would look better than the 8 coats of latex to "glissen" up the vibes.
Of course must wear the mask for oils and leave all the brushes in the stuff and toss after using.
