just the opposite...

There's currently a lot of enthusiasm behind bitcoin but the enthusiasts are far outnumbered by skeptics and the uneducated.


You can short it on Bitfinex...

the problem is you have to buy BTC first with $, send the BTC to Bitfinex then buy this with BTC...

The best way to convert $ to BTC is at Coinbase.

You send $ by ACH withdrawal from you bank to Coinbase which takes about a week. From Coinbase you can send it to Bitfinex.
