Wonder how much George spent on demonstrators? Here's some stuff I found on Office of Clean Coal and Carbon Management web site. Infographic: REE's from Coal? There are plenty of advantages to developing an REE supply from U.S. coal and coal by-products. And the U.S. DOE is working to make that happen. I also found a definition for DOE validation. Technology validation is defined as confirmation that component and system technical targets have been met under realistic operating conditions. Technology validation projects involve gathering extensive data from the systems and components under real world conditions, analyzing this detailed data, and then comparing results to technical targets. While the raw data is protected, analysis results are aggregated into public results called composite data products. These public results show the status and progress of the technology, but don't identify individual companies. With all the DOE projects around coal, none of them do what CCTC does, pre treat coal. Either CCTC has such a head start, or they are whistling down a gas pipe. It just seems odd that there is no mention of pre treating coal projects on the DOE web site, and no mention of the process at all. Don't know if any of this means anything or not, just fyi.
