Can we all agree on one thing? This new technology is creepy. Its being posed as a panacea for ensuring mentally ill take their meds, but the long term potential abuse of this technology and our continued loss of any sense of privacy should be concerning to all of us.

I recall how we were sold on the concept of the NSA and how it would protect us from terrorist events (it hasn't), but all that surveillance was really about monitoring all us citizens for future demonization should we ever be considered a threat to the status quo.

The potential abuses of this digital pill are endless. We're lied to all the time by our elected leaders for the benefit of their large corporate donors, why should we not believe this technology wont become just another "big brother" way to track us and now even our biological functions. This is getting too creepy. How soon before we're all required to take this pill, for our own benefit (is how it will presented), but used as a way of denying us insurance coverage or social welfare benefits if we dont? And what about hacking? This technology could be turned into virus and who knows where that could lead.
