Flannery gave a substantial interview on CNBC this morning. While not wholly convincing about the GE turnaround, he said getting =the ship going again would include shedding a few divisions. He defended the board of directors from an onslaught by Cramer who challenged him regarding their apparent (to Cramer) rubber stamping of business decisions. Time is what he needs most, he said, many years.

And no more light bulbs.
