While at the show, Carpenter will showcase new data on CarTech® Puris™ 5+ titanium powder, a custom composition of Ti 6Al-4V Grade 5 that maintains high strength with lower oxygen content. Preliminary testing on Electron Beam Melting machines show promising results for this new alloy with strength levels that exceed those of standard Grade 5 by nearly 18%. Additionally, Carpenter will take the spotlight on the introducing@tct stage on Friday, November 17 at 13:45 - 14:00, where Ron Meyer, Application Engineer – AM, will present “Materials Matter: Metal Powder and Wire Solutions for Additive Manufacturing.”
