Thanks. But I wonder if that small detail to us is a small detail to them. Based on what you found in the IRS publication they weren't REQUIRED to make a change so appear to have made it voluntarily.

Except I was wrong about something involving it re: "That "new" number appears to have been been used on every filing since then." ("then" referring to 6/30/15).

The "old" number has been used MANY times since that date.

But the question remains. NO ONE COMPANY needs or should have two FEI/IRS numbers, so why create a new one? And why proceed to use both numbers in what seems to be a random fashion?
