Folks, do not shoot the messenger, the facts are what they are. Green energy in the US is not ready for prime time without huge subsidies from the common American! AD technology does work as a waste water unit operation, not as a viable way to make energy to compete with Oil. The cost structure is not there. We use it to manage organic wastes as part of all overall wastewater treatment business. We attempted to enter the energy market years ago and quickly figured out that it was not financially feasible. If you look at all the projects in the US you will not find a shining star, most have failed and a number of them are limping along since the do not want to do the BK thing. People get drawn into the "green" space without spending enough time looking a comps and digging into the numbers. Blue Sphere is just like a BUNCH of other private companies who have survived on investors monies, not real profits from operations. Believe me that NO one is making much of a return on BLSP projects. The management are subsidized from cash from the investors. Investors like the shareholders are ALL unhappy with the returns. There is NOTHING that separates BLSP from any of the other groups out there chasing the green dream. ALL struggle to survive, and most do not. I am not dishing BLSP at all. I do get frustrated with some of claims I see from folks in the green energy sector that are fiction and or not based on experience. Investment in green energy in the US has slowed substantially, as they are "investments" expecting to see a return. Returns past covering the debt service are really hard to come by. In fact covering the debt service has become the new measure of success! Just the opinion of one old guy that has looked at a lot of spreadsheets and operated many plants. DO NOT take everything I say as gospel, but I would suggest that you did into the numbers and look at the COMPS around the country and world BEFORE you invest in green energy.
