President Trump said the bottom tax rate would be 12 percent, even though he wanted 10 percent. The business channels (CNBC, etc.) last week flashed up a graphic of the tax brackets, showing a 12-percent rate from $25K up to $90K. Thing is, that was for COUPLE'S.
Moderate income singles are getting the shaft in these proposals.
A 25 percent rate from $45-$90K, is grossly unfair. It is not what we were promised by the promoter-in--chief.
And, I don't care where the 25 percent bracket starts under current tax law. I was promised a 12 percent rate, and I want the same 12 percent rate as a couple.
