New Colombia Resources, Inc (NEWC) plans to approach providers of finance for the 300MW thermal power plant it is looking to develop near Guaduas, Colombia once its pre-feasibility study has been completed, according to the company's president, John Campo. He said that upon completion, a major European supplier of power plant equipment which it has been in talks with will provide financing for the equipment for an initial 100MW development phase. At this point NEWC will approach possible financiers, Campo said.
