No, I mean daily candle sticks where each represents a day. There is no preset time interval because most interactive charts allow you to expand each time frame and look further back at historical price action. The true golden cross is only ever considered with daily candlesticks. A 50/200SMA crossover has value in all time frames imo, but just fyi that the GC considered a staple in long term trend reversals which is why it is coined specifically for the daily timeframe.
