Some interesting background, in 2013 Spicers put the property up for sale/lease for $15M lbs ($20M USD)

It was composed of 515 acres and 420k sq ft of industrial space and not the 275k & 48K that has been talked about here, big difference. The difference is members here left out the mezzanine sqft of 86k & 17K respectively.

"The Vision Centre is a modern fully fitted headquarters warehouse facility including two story offices, 10m eaves, racking, lighting, heating. A fully fitted mezzanine of 17,000 sqft can be included in any letting."

"There are two buildings the CDC Building of 275L sq ft and the vision Centre of 48k sqft.
The CDC Building is a 5 bay warehouse benefitting from eaves of between8.5m & 12m, 26 dock level doors, 5 surface level doors, racking, lighting, sprinkler system, and two story offices of 10,000 sqft . A fully fitted mezzanine f 76,000 can also be made available."

"The building has 4 yard areas which enables lettings of 120,000 sqft and upwards to be considered."

Russell Catley, Partner at Budwells said, "These buildings are two of the few large warehouses available in the region and will be ideal for third party logistics companies looking for flexible leases of 3 to 5 years".

So there is much more rentable space than what was originally discussed here. These are two great buildings on a huge swath of land in an ideally located area of Cambridge. Most here are ignorant to this fact and consequently the value of this property has been drastically undervalued and now with the leasing and buildout of the larger of the two buildings (the smaller building was already fully rehabbed recently by NWBO) the value should jump enormously.
