And I don't think I've ever seen that happen: for "everyone" to become filthy rich all of a sudden. Some traders do seem to make decent money on pennies, but that's because they're disciplined. They set targets and stick to them.

I've also seen a few people make serious coin on longshots in which they sincerely believed. That happened with QBID. A fair number of people suddenly had accounts showing $1 million or more. Of them, though, only a few could bring themselves to sell. The rest rode it all the way down to $0.0001.
