I have been closely following the news of Bombardier’s C series passenger jet and how Boeing filed a grevience against Bombardier for “dumping” when Delta airlines agreed to buy 75 units at less than list price. The USCommerce department slapped a 220% tarif on the deal. Bombardier has just given Airbus 50.01% ownership in the C series program and Airbus will be building an assembly line in Mobile, Alabama. I have a little stake in Bombardier and I am enjoying the latest development.

While reading about Canada’s economic plans I surfed around and the following article got my attention. Notice the wording in the description of the building construction. Could it be a coincidence that the phrase “leading-edge” is used, or does it smack of the answer to the well kept secret that only the insiders know?

The Google subsidiary Sidewalk Labs this week chose Toronto as its first trial in creating, at the undeveloped lands known as Quayside, a futuristic city of self-driving shuttles, leading-edge construction methods to reduce housing costs, and environmentally advanced designs of everything from water systems to recreation centres.
