They definitely "took out the trash" but GE has ended up back where it started before the announcement.

I guess the analysts aka kibitzers will claim "it was already priced into the stock".

Living on the West Coast this all happens before I'm awake, unless I make a special effort to get up at 6:30 am.

We've run out of other people's Social Security taxes needed to subsidize our low income tax rates.
