As long as it is found and frees Israel from the yoke of bondage formed by the oil producing countries
I am a Christian, but I do not understand why Mr. Brown & the participants of this board are of the opinion that is Israel pre-ordained for Energy Independence. Why do you guys/girls feel that Israel is 'entitled' to not have to import oil?
90% of all countries have to import oil...
By this rational, is Israel also entitled to not have to import food? lumber? cars? technology? weapons?

It just seems to me that if it were God's will for Israel to have massive oil reserves, oil wealth & be energy independent, then he would have located the Promise-Land along the Tigris & Euphrates Rivers or bordering the Persian Gulf... See map below:
