the total short size has been a steady 6-7 million for well over a year if not longer now. The puzzling part is why are the shorts in no hurry to cover yet in spite of the reality that this has declined so much already over the last two years. You'd think they'd cover already after having done so well. but no, it's almost as if they know it's going lower still. bizarre.
