That is a question for an accountant too answer, however I can say the government pot of money where they commingle monies taken from the twins is part and you and I on private insurance are subsidizing the rest though higher premiums and out of pockets. Trump gets people's focus on what all of us should be paying attention too. We just might be surprised if there was an effort too pull back the covers on all the items that subsides cost for other items. I have always said that since diesel costs switched places and surpassed gasoline prices way back 2002 something that it was too keep gasoline artificially low as more people would be up in arms. All goods wether land, sea or air is moved at the expense of diesel fuel. That passes the cost of the subsidy too the consumer thought higher cost of food, energy, electric, medicine, basic materials and you name it.
