MU selling off today after a big gain yesterday but it is not because Dram chip prices are dropping. They continue to rise daily. I checked my notes and at the beginning of the year the DXI index which is a basket of spot Dram chip prices was at 14,800. Today it is over 27,000 so Dram chip prices have nearly doubled this year. Most of MU's chip sales are on a contract basis so they don't go up as fast, but when the contracts come up for renewal the prices are renegotiated higher. If I didn't already have so much, I would have been adding when it dropped below 40 for a short time this morning.
