Well, certainly numbers can be negotiated...but there is always the Clothing Line / Frozen foods concepts for which percentages can be "worked out" as to who gets what etc. They only work with more stores opening, though.
For the life of me, If Joey can't see that HE needs to take it on the chin here - we are all doomed. He's a salesman/slick-type so if nobody is lining up to wheel and deal then perhaps there really is something flawed with the business model or concept that we don't know about. $2-3M is not a lot of money when you have all of these very wealth Cali stars/teams. This isn't rocket science people. He shouldn't give it away but the alternative is horrendous IMO. This all-star team must have something up their sleeve as pressure ratchets up, no ??
