Formnext 2017 is shaping up to be a big one in terms of next generation models of AM machines. EOS, Trumpf, Renishaw, Farsoon, GE etc all announcing some big developments and production machines. Whatever the direct implication for Sigma, the over all implication is that production will be one big step closer. These new models are a major upgrade on the back end of the last few years hard work. Whilst i don't expect Sigma to be inside, I do think the technology these new machines will offer is much more leveled at the playing field Sigma is focused on, ie IIoT, data driven etc. That so many players in the industry are pushing this direction can only be good for Sigma's technology which, as we have heard recently is still well above any competition for it's niche.
