They may be paid to represent tax dollars...but it is not a "duh" moment when there have been dozens of posts on this board about how Congress is likely upset that they were lied to about the need to bailout the GSEs. Comments from Congress seem to indicate that they like the current system, until one can be found to kill off shareholders.
One thing is for sure, legislation is NOT going to help us. If any housing reform is passed, you can be sure that shareholders will be deleted.
