Yeah, it looks like they are licensed through Marvel. That probably means POW! will get its cut. Other Stan Lee action figures were licensed through Stan Lee Collectibles.

I think Disney pays POW! for Stan Lee stuff, and doesn't pay it to Stan directly or indirectly through Stan Lee Collectibles. I think this is why POW! sometimes recorded money for only some of the Stan Lee appearances, and not all of them.

It does look like POW! will get sold for $11.5 million plus the appraisal for dissenters.

A (mysterious) company made an offer for all of POW!'s assets. They expressed interest, but Gill and Stan turned them down. Apparently not just any company can buy POW! or its assets..
