Anyway, my take on that is the poster is considering doubling his/her position at this price point, but is fearful of the downside risk (going to a nickel). It is not a case of waiting for lower prices to double up.

If my take is correct, I would submit that going to a nickel is not in the cards. Pretty sure fully diluted value is mid .06s, but obviously other factors could drive it down further.
Nonetheless, I think the downside risk here is minimal, and it should be relatively easy to unload extra shares without a huge loss if nothing comes of the current situation. But I also understand that different investors bring different strategies -- and risk tolerances -- to the table.
