While we're on CGT/GMP facilities, I'll take the liberty of repeating much of a previous post:-

...this is an interesting chap with whom NWBO have a worthwhile relationship.

Namely Dr Mark Lowdell.

Just about the most qualified UK individual in the field of CGT / GMP.
Director of Cellular Therapeutics and Professor of Cell & Tissue Therapy, at the Centre of Cell, Gene, and Tissue Therapy at the Royal Free Hospital; University College London. And he is right at the heart of regulatory developments on both sides of the pond.
NWBO have a manufacturing agreement with this establishment, and Dr Lowdell acts as a consultant to NWBO.

He actually gave the opening talk this morning at the CGT Phacilitate conference in Germany.

He is no doubt advising regarding the Sawston facility, ahead of its planned manufacturing approval next year.

A good man to know. (Also worth checking out Autolus and Achilles Therapeutics!)
