So another PR to say they are collaborating with the Li Ka Shing Institute of Virology to study the development of viral vaccines and antiviral therapies .

This is what CTRV was already doing on their own,so why have Li Ka Shing Institute in the picture now.

Li Ka Shing is kind of new being it was created in 2010 .


No one one works for free ,everyone has bills to pay. So who will be paying the staff at Li Ka Shing to work and study with CTRV.

Is it via the grants Li Ka Shing has received or CTRV will now have additional salaries on the books.

PR's are nice and dandy but these things cost money to run. Who is on the hook for this collaboration ?

Where's the additional funding coming from ,ya can't just walk into another institution and start going at it. Deals have to be made!

Has Li Ka Shing brought any drugs to market in their 7 years of existence ?

Funding and grants are crucial for drug development and the burn rate of funding is high for studies/trials/development/salaries etc..

I'm hoping it's not going to be a share increase / share dilution or some other crap which will hurt CTRV share holders in order to satisfy the people at Li Ka Shing with shares. I've seen this crap play out before.
