ot-If what you are saying is correct, then there would be lots of examples of stocks trading far below book value( with a lot of that book value being liquid assets!) just because they are trading on the pink sheets. I would love to find out about these companies. I am crazy enough to want to invest in a diversified list of these companies. Maybe the great researcher Denny could figure out which ones are the best.

ot-One sector that could meet your description is the jr potash sector. There are companies with projects with greater than a billion npv's that trade at less than their cash value. The problems are considerable. The sector is dead with a capital D. The companies are run by crooks who could give Esposito & company lessons on how to loot a companies value. An example is Western Resources (I am not saying buy this company!) that trades at what was at one time 70% of cash value. The problem is the company was taken over by the Chinese who have taken the cash and are investing some in Vancouver Real Estate (Bubble?!).
The projects also require billions of capital that is going to be impossible to raise. Snowball -I gave you this example to show you a company that is much clearer example what you allege about Syncora.
