Good to hear from you! I don't know that much of what is going on but I know for actual fact that SolarMills/PowerMills are being produced and shipped and that all production is done in the same facility with the actual machines. My speculation is that Bates is long gone and that someone(s) grabbed up the contract manufacturing part of Windstream. I know of one distributor who wanted to do just that because he was selling the units quite well. He tried to get manufacturing rights moved to his state but did NOT get those rights - so someone else must have gotten them in Indiana. I was told they are selling/shipping to South America somewhere??? and that there was good interest in the product in countries outside the US. That part is anecdotal, of course, and some of what I am doing is reading between the lines. I don't know how this contract manufacturing connects with Windstream or even if it does. Frankly, I think Bates is so completely incompetent business wise that all he could do is disappear and crawl under a rock. Windstream India appears to still be functioning from the little that I can see on the Internet, but it is private and there is not much publicity.
