Serious question...

What am I missing or did I miss that happened that is causing Gold to be relentlessly sold off? I mean, we just wiped out a weeks worth of gains in like 24 hours. Yes, I know the USD has moved up the last 2 days...but it has to be more than that with how swift this has been.
