Most good mines are surrounded by miles of nothing. This is obvious.

But when a mine in place A shows geological, geomagnetic, and geochemical similarity to another place B where no mine exists, then it becomes worthwhile to consider drilling place B to see how far the similarity extends.

The revelation that mines are surrounded by ground that is not mineable is only another attempt to make a reasonable line of thought seem unreasonable.

Few are persuaded by this transparent technique.
