FBI Just ‘Found’ 30 Pages Of Documents On Infamous Clinton-Lynch Tarmac Meeting
"The FBI is out of control."

After first denying that it had any records of the 2016 tarmac meeting between former President Bill Clinton and then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch, the FBI has now changed its story.

The watchdog group Judicial Watch announced Friday that it was informed by the U.S. Department of Justice that the FBI has found 30 pages of documents related to the June 27, 2016, meeting.

The FBI said it will provide “non-exempt material” by Nov. 30.

Judicial Watch had originally filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit after the Justice Department refused to comply with a July 7, 2016, request for the information the FBI has claimed to have only recently found.

The FBI explained that it did not have records of the meeting but that Justice Department officials who had been in communication with the FBI had records that it could provide to Judicial Watch.

“The FBI is out of control,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “It is stunning that the FBI ‘found’ these Clinton-Lynch tarmac records only after we caught the agency hiding them in another lawsuit.”

He further added that Judicial Watch will “continue to press for answers about the FBI’s document games in court. In the meantime, the FBI should stop the stonewall and release these new records immediately.”

The Clinton-Lynch meeting occurred only a few days before then-FBI Director James Comey recommended that no charges be filed against Bill Clinton’s wife, then-Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who had been under her own investigation for purportedly using a private email address on a personal server to transmit classified intelligence during her tenure as secretary of state.

Lynch and Bill Clinton have said they talked about grandchildren in their meeting and denied it was about Hillary. However, former FBI Director James Comey said that meeting made him concerned about the atmosphere surrounding the FBI’s probe of the former Secretary of State.
