Dr. Zem,

<<I don't expect a $400 million of cash infusion from a JNJ settlement.

But I do expect DECN to receive a settlement, or buy-out proposal, of several times its current market cap.

I expect this to happen this year, so I'm holding my position too.>>

I am not sure what a J&J settlement, if any, will look like. It may just come down to a buyout of the company. Or things may be delayed further because of goings on at J&J. I would have thought this all would have happened earlier because of J&J wanting to sell the glucose strip testing division but at this point, I will not be surprised by anything. I think there is still a chance that small investors like us will have a bitter pill to swallow. That is the risk for holding which I am prepared for but wouldn't like to see. It all depends on how everything/everybody decides to work things out. But I do hope you are right about a buyout at several times its current market cap. From my perspective, I think the chances for this scenario is much higher which is why I am still holding. It comes down to J&J as well as how well DECN can get its sales ramped. The better the ramping of sales, the more incentive for J&J to reach some type of settlement. If sales don't ramp, the 5 cent and below scenario becomes a possibility. JMO though. Good luck out there.
