According to a report by Pro Football Talk, United States District Court Judge Amos L. Mazzant has informed the National Football League that he will not lift the injunction that prevents the league from enforcing their six-game suspension of Elliott until the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit rules on the running back's petition for rehearing. This comes contrary to an NFL statement that Elliott's suspension has begun.
With this, Elliott continues to remain eligible to play. The Cowboys will face the San Francisco 49ers off of their Bye Week.
