Private equity doesn't always buy shares. They buy a percentage of the company and make their money by getting a percentage of the profits or when there is a merger or acquisition down the road. Tommy already has offers to buy the company. But I guess with your experience in private equity, you would advise Tommy against selling a percentage of the company for $100 million. He said he already had an offer of $70 million of private equity.
But it really doesn't matter to you, does it. The bidders will be lined up for your stock Monday morning. Now don't disappoint them!!
