Inept is right I think. Not so much a scammer.
Potts is a different story imo.
He pretty much already conned Dan into giving away assets so he's looking pretty scammy and Dan is just looking dumb at this point.
Since we don't get any real info we are just going to have to wait and see if Dan is smarter then he appears.

Just like 2009. Nobody knew Scott was a scammer. He was smart about it tho.
