Seymour and Diwan are actually quite bad in their fleecing of investors, since they are so obvious and transparent.

And yet, even now, in the end game, there are still many , as you've described, who are willing to donate more to the Seymour/Diwan relief fund.

Crazy Dave is a great example. He's still on the bandwagon claiming the breakthrough is on the cusp of appearing and he'll be telling his grandkids about this.

So I think he's actually very good at it, since they know it's a scam, but they still keep donating. I guess it's just how you look at it. Half dozen of one, six of another.
