ORDER

This matter comes before the Court on a motion by Plaintiff Navigators Specialty
Insurance Company (“Plaintiff”) to compel discovery. Plaintiff seeks an Order compelling the
production of documents and transcripts relating to an arbitration proceeding underlying this
insurance coverage action. Plaintiff sought these materials by way of discovery requests served
in May 2017. Defendants have refused to produce the documents, citing confidentiality issues.
According to Plaintiff, with these outstanding discovery materials, “the Court will have
the complete record needed to fully and finally dispose of the sole remaining issue in this case.”
ECF No. 86. However, by Order dated July 24, 2017, the Hon. Peter G. Sheridan, United States
District Judge, granted a motion to stay this matter pending resolution of the underlying
arbitration proceeding.

In light of Judge Sheridan’s Order staying the case, IT IS on this 11th day of October 2017,
ORDERED that Plaintiff’s motion to compel discovery [ECF No. 87] is DENIED
without prejudice to Plaintiff renewing its application, if appropriate, upon the lifting of the stay
in this case.
