I estimate 99.9% of deleted posts were TOS violations.
In those rare cases, a review process exists for the .1% to be restored.
It's not difficult. A couple of clicks, and optional comment.
I have had my share of posts deleted. When I review them, I realize why they were deleted. A few confused me and Admin explained the TOS rule it broke.
Every once in a while a post was valid, and Admin restored it.
It probably took me longer to type this, than all my "request review" appeals since joining Ihub.
The point: TOS and processes work pretty well almost all the time.
"It is easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled."
For those that don't get it, it means that people need to be more careful, and do good due diligence.
