Farrel was fired today because it was discovered that he was wearing a JUDGE robe and had a #99 gavel back in the club house after he was ejected from their playoff game. He was caught sporting the aforementioned garb and props by one of the hitting coaches. Also in the club house was Josh Beckett who was playing Nintendo and eating chicken wings.
