A Twitter feed is a viable method for a power figure to disseminate messages to the masses without the cost of news releases, and to avoid others types who may modify the message as it passes through their hands. (Reporters are good modifying data, and making inaccurate interpretations, with opinions, or often false propaganda, held out to be facts). The way I see it, JB uses his Twitter account to directly communicate with the public, or at least those that follow him. Some may believe that any information received by tweet is better than no information at all.

When using a Twitter account to communicate, it is my observation that some inaccurate communication reception may occur because of the limited number of characters allowed in a tweet. Unfortunately, sometimes the ease of the tweet may result in hasty comments which some may see as unwise to send.
