You know how, you come across many people in need/want, some asking for money in the streets, well I was running around getting one of my cars repaired, and was hungry and going to get something to eat, this one guy saw me and was waving me down, sir , sir can you spare a dollar or two, my family is hungry, I was honestly caught off guard, because, I seem to be a magnet for these, people, so I was like O'Lord..here we go again...

Its initially hard sometimes, to try to access if the person asking for money really needs it for what they say like food or gas, or they have addictions, and will waste the money on that... I went over to their mini van, and saw they had 2 babies , and he went on to tell me, they are sleeping in the van, and have to struggle , day by day

so I gave him some money and went to go eat, then the Lord put on my heart to invite them to get something to eat too, so I asked him if they would join me, they jumped at the idea, after talking with them, and trying to understand their situation, I felt good about trying to help them, I gave them money for a room, and a gift card for groceries, I prayed with them, and said that I would try to help the dad get a job, as that was key to getting back on their own feet...

I did get him a job, he actually starts today (Praise God), the dad seems soooo happy and thankful, its nice to see people have hope, when there was not much before...

last part of the equation, and where I want others to help pray for is... now that they have a roof over their head, and some food, and gas the vehicle they are driving has over 300k miles, and needs repair, the a/c doesnt even work, so now my mission is to help get them a better vehicle, instead of putting money into a super high mileage money pit. something more reliable so the dad, doesnt have to worry about breaking down again, like they recently did, Thank God, someone saw them stall in traffic, and helped them get a new battery.


So...

Please pray over the over all situation for this family, and that I could find a good vehicle for them, I spent a good amount of time looking for a replacement vehicle for them, explaining to the sellers what I am trying to accomplish..and even made some offers.
